Half shaft axle for cargo tricycle and pedicab rickshaw 120cm Next Gen
Product Details

Half axle for all Maxpro trikes with chassis width 120cm. Suitable for all clsssic differential drives and one side axle for the RevoDrive electric assist as an external shaft. Axle comes without drillings.

Please note this the Next Gen axle, if you have an older hub you need the adpater HUB-004-ST to have a wheel

What does it mean Next Generation. In the older version all disc rotors were bolted to the clutching disc from the inside meaning that if you had to replace the disc rotor you were forced to remove entire drive system with motor / differential and axle bearings. Right now you no longer need to do this because axle allows the disc rotor to be fitted on the outside.

Please however note that if you use this axle and you still have an older wheels you will need also the adapter to convert the older hub into new system, the part number is HUB-004-ST

Manual to replace and drill axle:

1. Measure the distance of the mounting hole from the old axle.

2. Mark it with punch tool

3. Drill just one pilot hole with 4mm drill

4. Use the 6mm drill to expand the hole

5. Insert the differential and match the drilled hole with existing hole by entering the bolt M6

6. Remove the bolt after hole matching and drill second hole and insert bolt M6
